ENVOY

"Our story begins in 2017. After graduating from a trade school in Charlotte, NC with an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design I began freelancing as a graphic artist for various clients under the moniker "Envoy Graphics" executing services such as logos, artwork, etc to many people. Despite knowing I wanted this to be a lifelong passion as well as career, I wanted to understand various commercial aspects of graphic design instead of one single avenue such as video editing & marketing to photography and fashion. The thing is I had no idea what avenue I wanted to specifically focus on the most as well as what my brand/company was going to stand for. It wasn't until I landed a job as a graphic artist at a screenprinting company in Cornelius, NC going cross-eyed choking base layers, moving registration marks, and reversing artwork for vinyl plotters that I realized...huh...looks like I'm smart enough to do this on my own time. Several maxed out credit cards later not to mention some time at youtube academy I purchased a vinyl plotter, laser printer, DSLR camera, & photography equipment and realized this is my message (hence the name "Envoy") - through initiative one can generate enough dopeness to ensure peak quality (I + D = Q) whether it's clothes, a logo, or an ad campaign. However, given my time as a professional designer began in the apparel industry, I figured this is exactly how I want to build this brand. Envoy is a statement here to prove that we can all make the most out of ourselves by any means if the steps are taken to do so even if the knowledge is outside the confines of their own personal experience. It just takes a little ambition first."
